We should count our blessings..just rain and raw temps..no snow or ice...my former town in NJ has been socked and buried with 2 feet + and it isnt melting fast enough...We aint missing dat...

74 degrees at noon today with a expected high of 81. This afternoon I`ll probably do a quick yard pick up then service the mower deck and change oil in the ole JD. I`m not going to mow until this weekend.
And yet 40mi away and I'm at 4°. That's quiet the temp gradient...

It's been 20 years since we have seen this kind of forecast. They are now forecasting a 3 degree low for Tuesday morning. Trust me just the same as up north y'all don't have ac, we don't have that kind of heating systems. My house is over a 100 years old with rock walls with no insulation. There is no way to to keep it warm. We are evacuating to the outbuilding that I built that is insulated to R13 at least.

Northwest Mississippi looks like this right now as well. I just stopped to put gas in my car and had to abort. The fuel door is frozen shut. Y’all in Texas, please take care. You’re going to get hammered.
Well the digital outside thermometer this morning says 8ºF! Got both woodstove's running. The one downstairs where my desk/office is shows 675ºF on inferred digital thermometer so guess it's time to close the air intake a bit!
