wiring problems

i have an 82 xs 650 that i bobbed> having trouble wiring it> it has a electric and a kick starter> what wiring diagram is the right one for me? and also what is a pick up coil and where is it located on the bike

the pick up coil is attached to the stator at about 2'oclock

for some reason i cant find the wires coming from it that connect to my ignition unit. thanks
