Wisdom required - Will a '75 exhaust fit on an '81?

Dudes,

I need a replacement OEM exhaust for my '81 and have come across one in decent condition from a '75 model.

The bike will be running Gordon Scott straight pipes in the end but I need the stocker unit to throw on temporarily, in order to get it past the super-tight Australian emissions testing.

Like an idiot, I threw out the original as it was rusted out (should have just patched it) but I was also planning on using a quieter aftermarket exhaust at the time...

So my question is, aside from tabs/brackets which I can fab up, will the headers from the '75 bolt up to the '81 without too much hassle?

so try it, if it don't fit you can sell it on.
FWIW my youngest boy bought a noisy Kawi twin when he was in Adelaide.
He said he found a bike shop that would sell you used stock mufflers at new price to get the bike through inspection and buy them back afterwards for $20 less.
