Won't go above 60mph?!

I think there people in DFW who will do it. There is a YAMAHA specialist who only does yamaha , the challenge is to get his attention. So I will probably have to get two of those pods. Do we know what sizes are the fuel pipe lines ? Link preferred.

So I have the right guy and got him to agree to work on the bike. He was asking the following questions:

1. What are the needles that need to be set ?
2. What are ideal Jet settings to be used ?
3. If he changed the Air filters (UNI) then he would need the right Air boxes to go with them so is anyone selling the right Airboxes compatibles with UNI foamed Air filters ?

Uni don't need airboxes. Needles and jets can be found in the Tech Section for your year carb set. Follow the advice of others who have said go up 2 sizes in mains and 1 or 2 sizes in pilots and see how it runs. Your mechanic should be asking for a starting point. From the tech section on carbs.

This shows what your carb set had stock. Up (bigger number) on mains and pilots.

First link is the CV carb guide PDF, (written by our own 5twins and Grizd1). Take that to your carb guy and he will understand what is needed

You should be reading this untill your eyeballs bleed as well

Thanks Skull

I hope the guy who asks "what are the needles that need to be set...) has a low hourly fee.
The guy who is doing it has an hourly fee of 130 but he is one of the finest in DFW. Given I got the bike for 1500 in great running condition I think I am prepared to spend a couple more. Rode it yesterday for a flawless 40 miles. Didnt miss a beat just gotta get it freeway ready.

The bike was serviced and everything is good. She rides like a dream cruising on the freeway at 70 even . No problem sir. And this is all it took :-
1. Clean Carbs
2. New fuel tubes
3. Clean clean Filters. Didnt even change them.

The ride is beyond explanation. Nimble and sweet urban stallion - pic included.
