The 1975 Bonneville has US spec bars and they have an eight inch rise. The photo was taken in 2001.

Marty, very nice classic bikes! The bike i'm thinking of and have seen a picture of is much different. Pretty sure it was one year, US only. It was a failed attempt as a response to the HD chopper look in the US.

I believe you mean the Norton Commando Hi-Rider.

As ugly as it is a lot of them were imported into the U.S. . My 72 roadster was converted from a Hi Rider and I j have a parts bike and a frame that started life as Hi Riders.

I do believe it was 1972 to 1975. I saw an impeccably preserved one at the Vicksburg show three years ago. The owner hauled it from Colorado to show it off.
