The Cave of Crystals,
In Mexico, discovered by silver miners , this cave contains some of the largest crystals known. The largest one is nearly 40’ long. The cave is normally filled with mineral rich water that is heated by a volcanic magma chamber beneath the cave. The cave has only had minimal exploration due to the fact that the temperatures and humidity are extreme and it requires special cooled suits to enter. The photos almost don’t look real, like something from a science fiction movie.
