Hey there, I need some help with my wiring…I put the engine from an xs650 onto my John Deere riding mower. I’m having a hard time figuring out the wiring and am asking for any advice.! I can’t seem to get any spark. I’ve tried everything I know, but still to no avail. What is the simplest most basic way to get the motor running?? Any info would be much appreciated!

Well they are still bolted on the motor......
True. Was just lookin' ahead to the point where he removed the top mounts and let the condensers jus' dangle. Thought I'd point out ahead of time they need grounding.

Can't see your coils, plug wires, spark plugs. Plugs need to be grounded to the engine to spark.

I did a search and apparently it’s been done before haha.

Although it looks like the other guy just welded half a frame to his mower.
