XS 650 Rims

Hi guys,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a set of rims for Xs hard tail build. Id like to get a set of chromed rims if possible. Prices for chroming here in the uk seem to be a heck of a lot more than it would cost to just buy a new rim....

The wheels are as follows:

Front: 19xMT 1.85 (64 Spoke)
Rear: 16XMT 2.75 (48 Spoke)

I dont want to change rim size as the stance and the rest of the build has been around these sizes. If i cant find any new ones ill have to bite the bullet and pay for them to get done.

AFAIK Alloy rims and stainless steel spokes from MikesXS in the USA is the only game in the world for the Heritage special wheels.

I’ve tried mikes, unfortunately doesn’t stock a 2.75 for the rear. I’ve also tried Buchanan and Heiden tuning over this way. But has no luck.

In the USA Buchanons will custom drill alloy rims. Prolly someone in europe doing it also. Mabie just me but from 2.75 to the 2.5 mikes stocks not noticeable looks wise? Another option would be powder coating your existing rims.
