I'm been able to track down all nos parts to rebuild the linkage. I revived the pins part 90249-06095-00 that attach the link rod to both cam arms. They are in place with and clip. See photos. The new pins have no c clip grove. My question is do I need to peen the new pins like a rivet.? There is a small hole in the top of the new pin to fold down. Or so no just have the wrong pins.
Thanks

I see from your other post you are not doing a resto. I would not peen them. I would file them in a close but no cigar box. Then use the originals as a pattern and make new ones out of stainless.
Just my :twocents:

No use the originals as a pattern to make new ones out of stainless. Shit can the ones you bought.

I have an XS1b, I think it’s the same, to secure the pin it uses a cotter pin with a washer underneath. Which means you need to put a washer on the small end of the pin after fitted and then drill a hole for a cotter pin. Tried to get a pic , but not so easy to see once fitted.
