XS2 Exhaust

Hi, I'm new to the XS650 and am wondering if anyone has fitted the Delkevic 2 into 1 stainless downpipes on a 1972 XS2. Are there any significant changes to the frame/engine from that to later models that obstruct the exhaust. The pipes are listed for 1974 and later, but some dealers are saying they'll fit and some saying they won't. If they don't can anyone tell me where I can get a 2-1 stainless system for earlier models. I'm in the UK . Many thanks

I ran the Delkevic 2 into 1 on my XS2 for a couple of years. I did not have to make any changes to the frame. You will have to make a hanger.

Also you may have a clearance problem with the kick starter. I ended up using a later model kick starter.
