If your looking for a XS2 that you can ride every day, you found it.
I bought this bike in August of 21. Spent the winter servicing and doing repairs on it front to back. Summer of 22 I rode it quite a bit. Spring of 23 I sold it to a friend of mine. He rode it as a daily rider. In the spring of 25 he traded it back to me for a Special. (Some people have no taste.) So now I'm finally getting around to selling it. If you want to read about it from the time I bought til now read this thread.

Short list of thing replaced when I serviced it.
Rebuilt top end, 2nd over Cruzinimage pistons, 3 angle valve job, guides serviced and new valve guide seals. Less than 3,000 miles since rebuild.
Replaced carbs with a set of 72 carbs that I rebuilt.
Installed a Boyer Branson electronic ignition.
New master cylinder, brake pads, brake hoses and I rebuilt the caliper. Also new rear brake shoes.
New fork seals, fork oil and greased steering had bearings.
Installed stainless steel spokes and new wheel bearings in front and rear wheels.
Installed new brass bushings in swing arm.
Battery and chain replaced with new. New front and rear tires, tubes and rim strips. Both wheels balanced.
Replaced headlight with a H4 bulb with new housing.
Mufflers replaced with the good commandos.
I'm sure there are other things done that I don't remember.
Any questions just ask.
This bike is 92.5% original. Main things replaced with aftermarket are mirrors, mufflers, headlight, master cylinder and brake lines. Brake hoses and MC are repops.
