I have a 78 xs500, new to me, hoping for someone to help point me in the right direction.
Picked up the bike with no front signals mounted, but all indicators on cluster and original rear signals working.
Brought it to the local shop for a safety and had them mount the original signals back on the front. Upon return I noticed my right cluster indicator is not working, however all signals on the bike are. Interestingly when I key on, the flasher unit cycles continuously. It is a 3 prong K&S unit pn: 24-0005.
So far I confirmed the connections in the headlight are all correct with good grounds for installed front signals.
Moved cluster indicator bulbs (problem stayed on right side, both bulbs work).
Mostly stock, aftermarket led projector style headlight & some fuses added by p/o.
Please help, not trying to replace everything on the bike as I go
