XS650/750/850 gas cap differences?

It's been a while since I messed with an XS750 tank swap, but I seem to remember something about a difference in the gas caps.
I need a cap for this XS750 tank (at least I'm pretty sure it's a 750 tank and not an 850). I remember something about the length of the caps being different or something. How can I be sure I'm ordering the correct cap? is there a measurement I can get for you that would help?

Going off Partzilla

78 XS750E gas cap fits the 76-79 Standard tanks..................has he 74/75 Gas cap in the list but that is wrong as the 74/75 gas caps are different all together

I'll say the Standard cap from my '77 xs650 fits the xs750 tank I'm running.
New project there Scott or is that a sales pic for the tank? I can't imagine you having a crusty bike from your history. Nice to see you still breathe.
