Does Honda hold the record for highest number of different engine configurations? Parallel, boxer, straight, whatever this is called? What is it called? Horizontal twin? What is a standard front back twin called to note different configurations?
Edit and transition units to go with all types of engines. That looks like allot of mechanical interface below the cylinders. Some how w a boxer and that L R twin cylinder that energy must be changed 90°. I'd be interested to see, does it happen closer to crank or final drive. I'm going down a rabit hole......

I believe it’s referred to as a longitudinal v-twin, 80 degrees. Shaft drive, pushrod motor with a camshaft above the crank. Cylinders cast into the bottom end.

I went to go look at the bike with a lowball offer, they didn’t budge. Actually they went up $100 on the price, they messed up on their pricing, wow… :wtf:

I’m glad because it wasn’t worth it, doing some research that year came with a faulty cam chain tensioner, and oil pump. So motor would need to come out, and it’s been sitting the past 20 years.. But it was garaged and looked pretty decent, nothing messed with.

The wife of the couple selling it bought it brand new in Indiana and road tripped 15k miles with it, moved to California and put it away.

What a cool business! 🙂 Nothing like that where I live.
Because the people where you live are the people that used to live in this part of the country with old bikes and sold them all when they moved there lol. Several members have commented on the # of older bikes constantly available in the Midwest. I can attest to that.
