I got my xs650 back after sitting for a while and it was really hard to start so I rebuilt carbs on it and did a valve adjustment, points, condensers, spark plugs and it won't run on both cylinders it'll run on the right one and if I swap the spark plug wires it'll run on the left but if I rev it up to about 2500-3k rpm it'll run on both what could be causing the issue?? I did a compression test and it has good compression as well

Redress the plug leads from the coil to the plug caps, make sure all have good contacts. Also check / change to new plugs. After that points and timing etc.
