That's looking smart, I like the way the seat is coming along :) How's the transmission on it? My experience of XS750's has not been good and it's all been gearbox troubles :(

^^ I had gearbox trouble with my 78'. They had made a few small changes on it by 79'.. I JUST sold my 750.. Didnt get to finish, all i needed was a new compression ring.. (It ran strong, but would start spitting oil through the breather.. )

Spent 3 month figuring out what everywire powered and made a harness, and after all that, traded it for two 650's.. oh well. Kinda wish I hadn't but, I build 650s up faster/easier, came with a Loop DB Hardtail 4" d/ 2" s, too! It was well worth all together what i paid for the bike itself, $400..

Hey Lake , would that fairing fit on a 650 ? Or would you need to fabricte mounts ?

hey scrambled - there are no mounts with it so they would have to be made, I think the fairing would fit the xs the same way a Vetter fit the cb750 - good if you like that sort of thing - and I am just down the road from you!
