Which engine to build

I have two engines, I would like to build one rephased, 750, etc,etc.
One is a S650-132xxx and the other 447-211xxx
All things condition wise being equal..... Does it matter which one I build ?
I have the bike that matches the S650 engine.

Your 1972 XS2 (S650-132xxx) is a '256' series engine (1970 - 1973), and uses different connecting rods, wristpins, pistons, camchain, camdrive sprockets, and cam. Difficult and expensive to find performance parts for these. The later '447' series engines have a more robust performance parts offerings.

get the cam from the 256 sell the rest of it and build up the 447
