Excellent bit of info there, inxs. I've got a honda xl350 head that needs this exact kind of attention. I just replaced the head gasket and on reassembly I stripped one of the studs AND threads. FVCK! I wasn't exactly sure how to do this kind of fix, the right way that is. I bought a 20$ kit for a 6mm and the only tool i got with was a thread chaser. Looks like i gotta get the big kit. Oh well, good excuse to spend. Thanks!
