I just installed my PMA setup and want to know if I can use my existing Solid State Rectifier/Regulator? I have a points setup and a tour max rectifier just like the one sold by mikesxs.

I have read posts with references that you can use a solid state unit but no details. Or does it have to be a 3-phase?

If mine can be used, do I just use the three yellow wires from PMA to the three white wires on the R/R and ignore the brown and green. Red to capacitor and Black to ground from R/R?

Welcome to the forum, wd650. Sorry, no. Different charging systems. Originally used an "exciter" type alternator system, with a powered rotor (your brown and green wires). The PMA has permanent magnets, with regulation done within the rectifier diodes. Do a forum search on "shunt" to find more info on how that works...
