Those rear shocks look to be the Ebay/MikesXS cheapies. Had 'em on my Special when I first restored it. Rode like a hard tail. First thing I did was swap 'em for some Triumph shocks.

Jim what gen or model of Triumph shocks did you install?

Don't really know Vic. Was advertised to me as "Used Triumph shocks." I can say they work good though...

K thx. There’s a local guy selling a pair of new take offs from a ‘21 Triumph. I’m waiting to hear back from him on the dimensions.
