Leslie's Tracker Build

So that would be $16.56 as of the last time I went by the local gas station. I guess that's somewhat better. Now filling up my truck is another story. That takes $94:banghead:

Sorted the Kick start problem (Thank Osteoderm)

MWP309,
The kick start lever is of a RD400 either the E/F model. I think you may have called the RD something else as I owned a RZ500 with an ali frame that was the RD500 over hear.

Yambits in the UK sell a brand new after-market one for £30.

hope that helps and not confuses

Pregrid,
There is just as many willy(weener)lickers over here as over there.

If i am ever lucky enough to visit the US, then I will always carry out the Crocodile Dundee test if I am talking to a fit bird that has a deep voice

Thanks for the info Leslie, it helps. Great custom look, perfect clearance and a direct bolt on, very tidy! Oh, by the way, here in western NY we manufacture plenty of rain too...

Dave,
Every thing is rosy in the tank department as I am in the process of ascertaining a TZR 250 tank to use to cut the aircraft type fitting out of and weld into my XS tank!!!!!! Hopefully I will post photos when its done Mucker LOL

I have got you speaking Mancunian (MUCKER) and you haven't even been here

Leslie, in your words, "No worrie's mate". I sent you a pm last night with the cost. I like that tank with the R6 cap, but it's not a tracker tank. But neither are rear set's like you have. I think you are building a cross between a tracker and cafe. More like a good old USA hotrod.

Racer,
I would imagine that when you are building a tracker or a custom the great thing is in the design.

I come from a sports bike background and i also like crossers so my design hopefully will reflect my own personnel tastes and include design cues from both,,,,ie: the rear sets and the Pro Tapers..

I, for one, love your direction. RacerDave is right, you're building a hotrod. Just do it!
