I am trying to decide on which hard tail to purchase this week. I know there are a few right now from tc brothers and I found another on the forum for sale that has a bit of a drop seat look. What's your guys/girls take on it?

if you are asking of weld on hard tails and your going to do the work (welding). Then tcbrochoppers is the way to go. But if you are going to take it to a shop then there is on in pa called monstercraftsman he is located in lebanon pa where im going to take mine. let us know what you end up doing best of luck

I bought the David Bird hard tail from lowbrow customs. I like the fact it came with the gussets and finish stuff.

I have made the decision to go with Ardtail however I read that they take a while to receive. My welder buddy is helping me out on this one. No welding experience or access anyway for me. I've drawn up a few plans for caliper stay, MC and res. I like the idea of that fake oil tank kit too. Seems like everyone does the same thing...I assume cause it looks BA. No one around me rides one so I'll have the build thread up soon. I'll just put it all up at once so you all aren't waiting in suspense hahaha thanks a lot guys.

Some one has a ardcore hardtail in the classifieds here. He has it in hand, purchased it and dicided to build an entire frame. Even if you dont save any cash, you could get it MUCH sooner.

Hey Bro, whats goin on? I'm the new kid in town, any way you could forward the info on the hard yail for sale? Thanks bro!

As a newbie I have been studying the different hard tails on the market And I have to say I prefer the hard tail that follows the angle of backbone of the frame and also line up with it.

I just think this is a nice simple old school look I prefer the looks of.... with a few inches of stretch to go with it. It just pleases my eyes more thats all.

The craftsmanship of the Ardcore tail will be hard for any one to match BUT the hard tail has a drop down from the backbone that I don't like.

Anybody with input on this.

I love the Voodo Vintage stuff and really want to build one of theer complete frames one day but for cost and ease thinking just a TC Brothers for my current project.

the TC bro hardtails are good but PLZ dont just payfor some style. it's not that the product is poorly made they just look kind of odd with the lower frame rail brake'n realy late like it does.
i went with davidbird loop from lowbrow and it fits great and looks great to me. i've seen the ardcore hardtail and that thing looks soild and clean. when i start the next xs those are the 2 i'll be look'n into if i dont build a brat

I just received my Ardtail and the construction is top notch. I will be continuing my build thread as work progresses, probably starting this week, with some of the fab work so I will post lots of pics.

Just got my invoice for the ardtail. Had a really good conversation with Jon and that dude is rock solid. Man he's got my buisness all day and I hope the product looks as good as it does online. This build is gonna be awesome and I'll take a lot of pics for the forum!!

I have never been a fan of the way the TC looks.

I agree 100%. In fact, I have been really disappointed with almost everything I have bought from them. Battery box was not square at all, rear fender might have fit a 20" rear wheel. The problem with the frame is where it joins the backbone. The frame sticks way out past the edge of a bobber seat and gets into your thighs if you are shorter like my wife and she is 5'4. I have had to fix 2 of them that I bought already installed on the bike. Look at other brands............

That speaks to the quality, I was specifically referring to the look that is achieved with their hardtails. Definitely good to know though.

I don't think you can go wrong with Ardcore. The tails look awesome and are quality. I love mine!! Just understand that there is a wait involved....I stop by the shop every couple weeks and they are always busy. Jon and Carl are top notch guys.
