I did a build thread on the ACO bobber

And my XS2 "Caferod" is my daily rider i got it for $200 not run'n. after my ol sporty brokedown on me the last time(bout 2years ago and i still havnt fixed it). i cleaned the carbs and rode the XS in it's crusty "happy motoring" stock look(big rack, stock seat and bars) to a friends house where we drank ALOT of PBR and whiskey. Then we started knocking the stock turn signel off with a rubber hammer and cutting everthing else off that i didnt think i need'd with a cutoff wheel. My dude bill had a old zuki 80cc dirt bike that had a tide up motor i gave him 25bucks for it .then i took the seat and bars off the mini bike. i cut the brace out of the bars flip'd them over and bungey corded the seat on the ratty look'n beast.

Then a few months go by and i head a issue with the charge'n system so i cleaned it up alittle and add a few things
I started by get'n the seat mounted i used a old belt and some of the stock seat latching parts

then i started make'n some pipes and some struts

some where i got a set of the 80's heavy spoke weels so i put the back on i had to make spacer for the front so it came around later i got one of hugh's pmas and a accel super coil and ran all knew wire'n.

then i made the Cafe panel it started out as an old trump 650 rear fender i just cut and mod'd then made it fit flush with the frame in the back

and matched it the best i could with a mix of a few diffrent rattle cans.

i made some emblems from some 24oz PBR cans and this is wat i came up with for under $900

thanks jd bought it from my mailman, lol. Its for my ol lady its all original but she wants to make it into a brat bike or bobber. Ive had alot of bikes in my lifetime, but i must admit the XS has a bad ass looking motor.

Don't bogart weekendrider, I want that color code too!
My 79 standard is comin' along. pretty much everything on the front end is done now.
tapered steering bearings, fork seals, MikesXS cartridge emulators, lower tubes casting ridges removed, buffed, and polished, spoke wheel sanded buffed and polished, new tire, MikesXS rotor, new piston in the rebuilt caliper, rebuilt master cylinder.
