Here's a pic of Gamblers Habit. The horse my wife won from William Shatner when she was a kid. It was a nationwide contest. She had the horse for 27 years. He just passed away in June 2012.

If you like old historic things, have a look at the Pont du Gard. I took these picures a couple of years ago. It was built by the Romans in southern France in around 40 to 60 AD. Amazingly put together without mortar! It was used to carry fresh water to their cities.

To think this was all done my manual labour, and manual tools...........truly impressive.

Those crafty Romans. Nice aqueduct.

I do like history, and old stuff in general,....hence the 32 year old motorcycle.... Its amazing how ingenious we can be as a species, Humans. The Romans and Egyptians were pretty amazing.

Too bad we cant all get along.

England is a pretty good place to take photographs, lots of varied scenery and you're never far away from something hundreds of years old ;)

I can bore you all for months here-I'm forever taking photos!!

Cornwall, don't know the name of the place as we only stumbled across it by chance while driving around. Strangely we also found the same place around 20 years previously while riding around on my old Guzzi and we were a bit lost then too, hope it doesn't take another 20 years to find it the next time!

Contrary to popular belief it is not always raining or foggy on England ;) :D

I know there are airplane guys on the site, so have a look at a restored Lancaster bomber. No it does not fly, but they run the V12 Merlin engines, which is a beautiful sound. Located at the Bomber Command museum of Canada, which is about 100 kms from where I live.

Great pics of the Lancaster. I grew up around jets. Tyndall Air force base in Panama City. Here are some from a past air show.

Carbon, Yea I knew I was doing that shot. Had to dodge some cars and hubby had to toss the bride a few times but we got it. Funny thing, the text on the on the building means " To each his own". Didnt know that until later.
