I use my stock master cylinders, which I believe are 14 mm. I also use the stock rotors. The Brembo gold calipers, on the front and rear of my bike, work extremely well.
Ducati part# 610.4.011.2C Left hand
# 610.4.012.2C Right hand
# 613.4.021.1B Pads
I don't know what the material is on the stock pads. I've found that they give very good braking, but they do cause quite a lot of scoring on my stock disks.
I just mounted up one of these with with the mikes xs rotor. Came out a treat. Took a bit of modification to the Pandemonium kit since the off-sets and thickness is different to the stock rotor. Needed to make some spacers and an additional rotor spacer. Perhaps i could do a write up on it...
These calipers came on loads of the modern ducatis. There are 4 pistons, I think 34mm & 30mm.
One thing to bear in mind is Brembo do NOT list full service kits under Ducati. You can hunt around and find pistons and some of the seals in sort of half kits (usually listed un KTM since they signed a waiver), but Brembo dont want you opening them up. I believe it's because some one in the States sued them at some stage after incorrect reassembly...
I recommend this store for all the parts you need: real friendly and fast.
Hey mate. I'm heading down a similar path at the moment. If you could write up what you did to make the brembo/pandemonium kit/mikes XS rotor work, would be appreciated...even a few bullet points to steer in the right direction might save me some mucking around.

when I put a brembo on my SR500, I used a Nissin retro MC, they make then in various sizes, the style suits older bikes like the SR an XS, they also do angled ones, if you’re using clip on bars.
