The 1978 XS showed well this weekend at the 10th Annual Manitoba Antique Motorcycle Rally, held near East Selkirk Manitoba.

It's a small rally with only 30 bikes, Brits, US, Japs and European.

First Place, Best Asian

Here are the most recent shots of the XS...it's going to be put away for a while until, I get time to install the Pamco Ignition, cam seals and new coil.

Here's mine for this thread. Thought I'd try a grayscale too.

Pete, the slicer really adds that extra touch. You gonna put some sort lettering on it?

Tech7, well, I gotta say that your bike looks plenty cool in color, but in B&W it just seems to glow, doesn't it. Something about monochrome. Guess it's the old-school photographer in me. B&W is a special medium all its own.

So very cool. Questions:
1. How well does it run?
2. How well does it handle?
3. How do you start it?
4. Can you syn. the carbs and what are they?
