i found this frame and i was wondering what kind it was probly from the 70s thanks also this is a original 70 xs i can across last week that has been sitting for 30yrs
The frame kinda looks like it would fit a Bonnie... You'd actually have to measure the mounts to figure out for sure. But the old sprung rear hub frames are my favourite.
Uhm... Are... Uh. You planning on chopping that '70?
- didnt denver's choppers make one like that they called a 'swing tail'...they look good but have a tendency to cock the rear axle making handling a little, shall we say, hit n miss
+1 on it looking LIKE an amen savior but a little different. I saw an Amen savior advertised in the Milwaukee Craigslist last year I think their shocks are a little smaller and less "clunky" looking
There are few pics of an Amen here; http://www.650motorcycles.com/amen.html
I think they also made the denvers frame for cb750s but it should be real easy to tell its not one of those. most guys who still run plunger frames run a solid steel rod inside the spring to lock it out, leaving the springs just for cosmetics.
