Just made some big changes to my 77. I figured I'd put up some fresh pics.

This one was originally partially restored by a real estate guy in the Mid West I chased it but the guy never returned my calls.
The guy that owns it now has listed this a couple of times on Ebay but he is wanting big money for it.

Glad to see the $$$ price of these going up, not that I am going to sell mine anytime soon, but I have less than 8K miles on mine :)

yep, I think he lives in Arizona or something now on the guy that owns that one on EBAY. He had did most of the resto and when I was looking at it, there was no seat plus it needed new mufflers. He did want a lot of money. Not sure if that owner has changed or not though.

Talked to the 'first seller" his dad (had been doing the restoration) died, he came up from Arizona and listed it for 3000 no takers ( the ad was funky enough to scare off most buyers) he found an "NOS" seat and relisted it at 2500 while he was in Minn., sold in hours. I got to him a few hours too late. But I have a different 72 now, tins at the painter's......

so, it did sell? Why is it on EBAY then? So, the new buyer is reselling it trying to make a profit?

It seems a lot of people know about this bike, story is correct, went for $2500.
Then new owner listed Bike on Ebay with damaged front guard and electrical issues twice figures got up around $3500 but it didn't reach reserve.
Has resurfaced with new front guard and I think this was a sale to make a few dollars.

new to the site... i have had an Evo hardtail chopper for about 6 years, i recently bought this XS650. Great site, tons of info. the Jockey Journal taught me everything about my Harley, looking to gain some knowledge on this new bike. so different!
