I've been looking on this forum and it looks like the Pamco has ended
Mine just took a crap and took out the coil with it
So no more warranty
I guess I'm going back to the old points system (cash has run dry again)
If your out there Pete I'm not trying to rag on you sometimes a guy just gets a bad part
Hell I got over 4000 miles of trouble free use out of it
Thank god it died in town
Mike

Well, based on my own experience with a Powerdynamo CDI/ PMA ignition/alternator setup on my RD350, I am confident that VAPE (new Powerdynamo vendor/owner) is the best aftermarket setup.
No need for a capacitor if you should want to go batteryless. 180 or 150 watt ligthing output, more than the stock system!

wait till those 277 ignitions start failing,it's either back to modified points or the Powerdynamo. Mrriggs might have an opportunity to make a few bucks
by producing those 277 reluctors.

When cash become available look into this set up,better accurate timing, more efficient combustion due to a hotter spark with a wider plug gap and it's a cheap alternative.
