Yes that's exactly what I was asking. Thanks for replying. After rereading my post it wasn't exactly the clearest wording. Yes I have a known working system. The one on my 75 isn't charging, brushes are fine and rotor ohms out fine. I would rather fix it for free since I have the parts.

I have a 75 with a pamco simplified harness. I also have a complete charging system from an 81 parts bike. Can i just swap the charging system and keep my old good rotor on or do i need to take the rotor from the 81 too.

I only have one of it on the bike and its not real great. Sale pending btw.

My bike is a drop seat and it just didnt work out real well. I mean it fits but sitting at a stop it was a bit uncomfortable.

Update to go with this I also have a single pull throttle and a single throttle cable as well as a single into double throttle cable that fit the carb. I would also sell the intake alone for 150 shipped to the lower 48.

SOLD I have a Joe Wiseguy single carb intake for sale its ceramic coated and I have a VM36 round slide carb (pretty sure i got it at 650motorcyces.com) to go with it. Both were bought brand new. The carb will need the float adjusted other than that its all pretty much bolt on and go. Looking...
