It's a '79. I think I just need a rotor, but I'll consider a whole alternator also.

My rotor is bad, maybe someone switched to PMA and have a good used rotor up for grabs? thanks. Sam

When I checked it before, I was getting 4 ohms between the slips rings. Now I'm only getting 1.5 ohms, and when I pulled the alternator cover off, it smelled like burning electrical in there? thanks

I replaced the brushes and I am still only getting about 12.5 bolts at the battery @ 2500 rpms. I checked it right at the brush with the green wire, and I am getting about the same voltage there. I checked the resistance between the slip rings and got 4 ohms. Questions: A) what should the...
