I'm rebuilding Carbs off a 74' to put on my 82' the older ones have two throttle cables instead of one..what will I need to hook them up?? Sorry about the thread jack..just figured we were one the subject so id ask here...:D
Hey!!! i fixed it!!! it wasnt carb related at all..it was electrical..and an easy fix thanks to the motorcycle gods...lol while tinkerin with it tonight i hooked up my battery charger..i set my hands on the four factory fuses in front of the battery and ii heard a clicking sound coming from...
Well...I pulled the Carbs and gave them a good cleaning..and now its seems ok when I get on it but its back firing out of the left exhaust and popping a lot..it doesn't want to stay idling..and it died once while riding but as soon as I closed the throttle it fired up again while i was still...

As of rite now I don't have a tach..I need a new cable for that to work..lol so I really don't know what its idle is set at..and like I said b4 the 3000 rpm rev limited sound was just a guess..
Voltage is good well as good as it has been battery is brand new and for sum reason won't hold 12 volts but I have a small voltage gauge installed and it says a little under 14 volts just above idle..i cracked the screw open on the carb bowls and there gettin fuel as far as I can tell ( it just...
