Hi there, back on 12-31-10 there was a discussion about taking off the external springs from a 1970 xs1 and putting internal from a 71 or 73. IT was said "The XS1 fork is pretty archaic. I made mine a little better by switching to internal springs. The 71 springs fit, but so will the 73 springs...
