Hi there, back on 12-31-10 there was a discussion about taking off the external springs from a 1970 xs1 and putting internal from a 71 or 73. IT was said "The XS1 fork is pretty archaic. I made mine a little better by switching to internal springs. The 71 springs fit, but so will the 73 springs, which is what I went with. I still run the boots and nobody knows" I would like to do the same with mine but could use some help with more info on how to do this and wear to get springs? Any help that could be given would be GREAT. Thanks for your time, Brad
