+1 on Haulbikes. Shipped about 12 bikes to Milwaukee and back for a show last year. Great people to work with. Showed up on time and packed everything extremely well.

Most of the lower cost muffler like these use a louver core as they are less expensive. Usually the cores are 18g and the outer bodies are 18g or 16g. Packing is usually poor quality fiberglass fill that breaks down. When it does break down the mufflers will begin to sound hollow. Especially...

Because there is more volume inside the muffler they tend to have a deeper tone than the same length cone/reverse cone muffler would have. I think they sound more like the 18" long muffler than they do the 12". As far as how they would compare to a glass pack style muffler that is a little...

We just finished up some new mufflers that are semi-cylindrical for those that don't want the cone/reverse cone look. Not on the website yet (should be there in the next week or so) but in the meantime give a call.

And I wanted to mention the Golden Tyre performance. I had heard rumors that they were not well balanced, I have not found that to be the case at all. I have not balanced tires or wheels and I don't find that there are any issues at all. Nice sticky tires too, I can really bite down hard...

A lot depends on the style bike you're building. Mine is an aluminum DT/YZ.

The pic above showed the sheared aluminum tag mount. Pulled it back together and welded the tear. Made a new turn signal mount from 16g aluminum and welded that to the back side to add strength. I think the titanium one was way too light and its vibration helped lead to cracking of the whole...

Vibration can be brutal! Looks like I need to do a little redesign on the tag holder and turn bracket.
