First year for the Heritage Special was 1982. Your bike is a 1980 XS650G Special. 1980 was the last year that a rear disc was available on a Special. Not trying to give you a hard time, just trying to help.

The bike is a 1980 XS650G Special, not a Heritage Special. The Heritage Special had spoked wheels and a drum rear brake.
