    Born 1955 (so I'm old). Lived and worked in the North East for 35 years. So although I'm originally a Brummie I consider myself an honorary "Geordie". I worked doing project planning for Marconi Radar, then in IT for most of my life. In 2003 I started teaching IT evening classes and somehow became a full time lecturer. Now I work as a trade union organiser for a UK educational union.

    1975 Xs650B - Currently off the road. Bought ages ago. Ridden sparingly for five years, put away in the garage. UK version (twin front discs). No air box - pod filters. Boyer Bransden electronic ignition, fitted by me, Motad two into one. Pretty much stock that apart.
