    Im going to do a liner and Ive shook the tank with some flat chain with a chemical and its not bad , but it completly oxidizes as soon as its dry and it needs to be dry to do the liner. Am i missing something here?

    I just found a set of carbs online for 80$ from a 76. Just wondering if they will work on my 71. I know the throttle linkage is different is there anything else? Did all models get the same size carbs?

    This is the beginning of the restoration. Im still not sure if im going to bob the bike or take it back to original. Check out the tank, I sanded it for hours and this is how it turned out. Maybe Ill just seal er up and rat the bike!
