Nice. I replace the pads don't remember what I used but I bought them from Mike's XS. So that could be part of it. And I replaced the brake lines with stock Replacements from Mike's as well. Sounds like I should order some different brake lines.

This was my first motorcycle. And I put about 2,000 miles on it. I really had nothing to compare it to so I never noticed anything about it. Recently I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's Suzuki drz400sm. Very fun. A lot newer a lot lighter.
Now I feel like my bike doesn't stop...
I just didn't want the Piston to go flying across the room and getting ding up from being banged around. I just needed it out far enough to put some brake fluid in there. I think is the answer to your question.
Right so smart! Somebody yesterday or the day before told me I was hired. But I'll tell you one thing for sure I definitely got fired today when it was time to bleed the master cylinder.

First off Gary whoever he is is an effing genius!:bow2:
Second you probably knew this but you don't want to put your finger between the caliper and the Piston when using compressed air. Because you will stop at the piston from flying across the room but your finger will not feel very good...
All good info. I'm not giving up on this master cylinder yet. I'm going to try Gary's method. I think that's his name.

How hard should it be to remove the Piston from the caliper? I'm trying to pull that thing out of there won't come out.
