I stripped down my 277 engine with a megacycle 250/20 cam and forgot to mark the cam TDc since reassembled it aligning tdc and using the notch on the left side cam upwards ( like stock ) now im having problems with timing do i have to re degree the cam ? ideas thanks

judging by want i just found and the compression looks like and oil ring

plugs one is close to perfect the other is very oily yep as soon as i started up it it was smoking badly on acceleration oil level seems to be fine as its gone down in relevance to the smoking checked compression cold no carbs left side 156, right side161 ( aka smokey) ok compression ??
