try runing it without the pods on also. mine was doing the same thing and when i pulled the pods off it ran great. the problem i found is that there is a breather on the rear of the carb and the crappy ebay pods i got were covering 1/2 the hole. with no pods it ran like a rapped ape.

so i have been on this sit for a few months now asking all kinds on stupid questions about the bike i was building. figured i should let you guys see what it looks like.

ok so i changed the brown wire to the brushes from a ground, to an 12v ignition. and bam i am gettin some charging. the only problem now is that is is charging 58 volts. what the hell. i checked to make shure my green isnt grounding out on me and its not. do i need a new regulator rectifier? :wtf:

ok so you need more info. i can do that it is a 1981 xs650 stock carbs (34 mm Mikuni ) stock gearing electronic igniton. stock the exhaust is 45" long and is 1.5 inch pipe i belive the curent jets in it are stock. the bike was stock when i got it, and i dont think the the guy i bought...
