Yes, early *Tonti framed bikes have a lower steering head making a nice low line. Later bikes (mid-80s) lose that with a taller steering head. *850T, 850 T-3, LeMans I & II, SP1000, G5 and pre 1985. Avoid the iConvert as it's an odd bird. That bike is a '77 T-3.

I am first and foremost a Guzzi guy. A '77 T-3 on the shelf awaiting time/energy/money. The XS may get flipped to fund the project if a buyer presents himself.

I've exhausted my quota of stoopit questions so I had to figure out this one by myself. Replaced rear wheel bearings (and swingarm bushings), while I was in there I disassembled the brake hub to lube the pivot shaft and cam. Upon reassembly the axle slipped through the bearings easily but...

I guess it is an air chisel, from a cheap air tool set I bought years ago for the rattle gun. The die is an aluminum drift attached to a riveter base acquired from the aviation Industry.

I didn't go that far. All back together now, swingarm bushings replaced (another PITA) and tomorrow I'll hit it again. I *think* I'm done spending money on it for now. Hopefully get to put some miles on it in it's full ugly glory. Stop into a few bike nights and flash the rust. And thanks...

Just freed a stubborn swingarm bolt myself. This setup has been invaluable for the XS project. A cheap air hammer drove the impossible swingarm bolt like butta. It also freed the rusted crossover that I'd fought with for hours. Tools are awesome.

Got my answer, not for the "E". Amazons application list is off. Still would like to know the bearing # if anybody could help a fella out.
