Ok so I took the ignition box off.....poured water out from under circuit board and then dryed everything off with a blow dryer and walla she runs great. Just put 50 miles on her and all is good. Thanks so much for all the input.
Awesome this worked perfectly thanks a lot guys. Now for the next problem....My buddy left my bike out side in the rain without the tailpiece covering my electronics. my ignition box got full of water and even after drying it out it won't rev over 2500rpm :( or atleast that's what I think it is...
Ok so I soldered the connection in my switch and now have power to my signals. Then I went and got the EL12 flasher from napa because I have LED signals. So they have power now and blink but all 4 flash at the same time. Any help would be appreciated.
The signal/headlight switch on my 80 xs650 is broke. The terminals inside all came off for the signal control. My question is what years will work on an 80 there are a few on ebay but not sure what will work, any input would be appreciated.
Finally got the paint done. Had to throw it together to see what it looks like before I go get the graphix for the tank and tail.
Still have to hook up the lights and signals but other then that and a peice of fuel line its pretty much ready to go. I'll post more pics when its road...
Picked up my seat from the upholstery shop I should have given her more direction when I dropped it off cuz its pretty boring but she did a good job just wrapping what I gave her. Now I gotta finish prepping the body panels for paint and get some color on her.

Well they look really nice and the price is good. As far as function is concerned I guess we'll find out when the rubber meets the road. They have some adjustment in the spring and some adjustment at the bottom to raise the ride height alittle I think the directions said you could raise them...
So I've gotten some more work done on the Cafe. Disassembly frame paint a whole lot of cleaning and now starting to reassemble.

Got some more cleaning to do, painting the tank and tail, and the seats off to the uphostery shop.
Finished fabricating the tail peice and seat pan. Also got the tail light and rear signals mocked up.http://

It will be alot nicer and less cluttered under the tail peice just got it stuffed in there to make sure it would fit ;)
Picked up this 1980 xs650 for $400. wasn't running and had been sitting in a shed for a few years. Cleaned the carbs put some power to it and hit the button.....fired right up. Clutch cable is broke so I'm not sure if the trans is good but I was told it was good when they parked it.
