As best I can tell my cam timing is spot on. Trying to walk the motor around to find the fire spots are where there supposed be. When a magnet passes a pick up it fires the coil right? I'm dumb help
I know right. I still thought it would fire even with 60lbs
Does any one know if my head gasket is smoked? Not
Sure if copper head gaskets are re useable or not.
only had 60lbs compression in left(charging side) cylinder.
found a nasty leak in the new copper head gasket. between
the head and the gasket not the cylinder and gasket. may have
to deck the head!!! yup that trick dicky pamco is in there.
more later......
i get a puff out of the left side intake. re-phased cam and crank.

link???? motor is raw no carbs or pipes, valve spec. .004 intake .006. exhaust

any one have a base line jetting set up for
a 750cc motor with mikuni vm34 roundslides
with 41mm open headers. my jetting was
nearly perfect with the same set up on the 650cc
barrel but i suspect i'll need to update it for the
increase in volume.

i'm sorry i realize i was not clear in my initial query, i'm looking
to increase the separation/lateral travel at the clutch basket
not make it easier to pull the lever. i think that if there is a lever
and perch that leads it self to a longer cable pull. i'll do some bench testing
and see...
i'm no engineer but i have this notion that the
distance between the pivot point of the lever
and the attachment point of the cable barrel
effects the total arch/pull/travel of the cable.
i used a triumph lever in the stock perch and
gave me a little more wiggle room when adjusting
the clutch...
i did a quick and dirty search but i didn't come across what i was looking for.
is there a lever/perch combo that offers a longer pull on the clutch cable?
the stock pull is way to short. this has to have been addressed and resolved
all ready. any one have the info. thanks for your time...
