Holy crap its been a while since Ive been here. Lots happened, I sold my house, this pig sat in storage for a very long time. Finally got it brought back out, and I got all the wiring finished and built a small battery box. Bike kicked off pretty easy on a touch of starting fluid Tank is...

Heres a question for you folks You can see where Ive positioned a XS750 oil cooler I have heard lots of different opinions about the oil cooler blocking flow to the head and causing more harm than good However, the turbocharger should add a significant amount of heat. Will the cooler up front...

Fender from Lowbrow arrived. Has a pretty serious twist in it. Pretty disappointing.

Picked up a TC Bros weld on kickstand, pretty slick unit. Cut and modified my up pipe to keep the exhaust closer to the frame, didn't like how low it hung. Also added the O2 bung for a wideband for tuning. You can probably tell I've sleeved the pipe like six times lol. Stuck the pamco in there...

    Oil level diagram

Ive searched all over but cant seem to find this picture. Its of the right side cover, and shows the oil level marked into the side cases (if that makes sense) I'm looking to drill+tap a fitting for turbo oil drainback, and I need it to be low as possible, while still gravity feeding into the...

I originally started with a front mount, but never liked the packaging. I much prefer the aesthetics of the rear mount, we'll see how functional it is. Im going to start at low boost and work my way up, see how it goes. This whole thing is a big experiment lol.

Im actually not going to run a rear brake lever. My plan is to run a larger more modern front master cylinder, and splitting the brake line, and running both front and rear brakes off the front master (single disc front). Will keep the install cleaner I think. We'll see if a prop valve is necessary

I actually started with a chrome GL1000 front, but it didnt quite fit as good as I wanted, but was very close. I think Im going to go with a raw 6" ribbed fender Thinking black powdercoat frame, black engine with polished covers, and leaving the tank and rear fender raw steel, with just a little...
