The original Triumph Hurricane, if I'm not mistaken, spawned the Tracy body.

Making custom side panels - any ideas?

    Powder coat?

I had a frame p-coated red with clear coat two years ago by a pro for $275. It's very shiny and I should get to work on it.

Lukach4, I am a musky nut too so I had a musky in mind while fabbing it. It is now on the shore of a lake in your neighborhood so keep your eye out for it.

Any artists or musicians on this site?

Metal butcher. Mainly aluminum and stainless. I like bronze also but it has gotten very expensive and sales are slow. I make a lot of mobiles as well as static sculpture. www.stevenhaasmobiles.com

Would you buy a brat, tracker, or cafe modified frame bike?

Not only would I but I have. I bought two basket cases with titles one of which was cut and that was the frame I used on "The Troublemaker".

what other hobbies do you have?

I'm with Luckach4. I love to fish for musky (my best this year so far is 47") but also fish for perch and walleye depending on the season.

What is the name of your XS?

I call mine The Troublemaker because the first time out of town with it I let myself get in a short race with a beautiful 750 Bonneville. (pretty even up to 95) The second trip out of town included a conversation with a cop.

    Can't believe it

I like ironheads. Had a couple of them. Fun, simple bike!

    first time

Both of my daughters love riding pillion with me. The likelihood of riding with them is is marginal as they have both settled 250 miles away and I only get to see them 3 or 4 times a year and when I go to the Twin Cities I take the car or truck.

And you thought lawyers were smart!

I'm scheduled for jury duty in August, I doubt it will be as entertaining.

    question for Canadians

I'll be riding the beemer east from Sault St. Marie later this month to meet my Dad for a week of sailing in the North Channel. I'm wondering how much wiggle room there is speed wise. I'm guessing not much for folks from the states. Any other words to the wise is welcome. Thanks!

    first time

My daughter visited this week and talked me into letting her try riding a bike. This morning we went out to the university, (big parking lots) went over the basics and away she went. She says she is going to take the MSF coarse later this summer in Minneapolis. Frankly, I'm not keen on her...
