Ok, I've identified the motor as 1972 XS2.. But the frame is a 447- which is '74. It came with no engine mounts. From what I've read so far, after '74 the engines will swap, but I believe a '72 has different mounts. I have '72 engine mounts on my ebay basket.. Any advice?

I have a 1979 XS650 with a TC BROS Hardtail. At the moment the only tank I have to go on it is an old sportser tank. I realized the other day, that the petcock is halfway up on the right hand side. That means a good amount of gas will not get used, due to the angle of the spine tube. I...

They are...but with the way the hardtail is, I can make them fit. Its, the difference in diameter that I'm concerned about too. I think will have to get new intake manifolds... I'm just not sure if I'm wasting money.
