Yes that was remiss of me - the engine is from an early TX and the engine number is S650-213827.

I have in my possession two camshaft internal bushes and two labyrinth seals which I ordered from Mike's some time ago. We are putting an early TX650 back together - it appears that there should be some kind of stop for the kickstarter where the arrow is pointing in the photo. Can't find anything in the pile of parts that fits - should there be something there?

I have just started to delv inside the engine of an early TX - engine no. S650-213827. What parts (if any) are different on these to the later XS engines. The cylinder bores measure up ok for an XS and it is due for first oversize pistons - will XS pistons be ok?

Interesting stuff never heard of a starting system like that. Would you recommend going with this system when we do the engine or uprating the starter and battery?

An old friend of mine is after it so I will move it on to him for the same price I bought it for - I already have enough bikes to keep me busy for years and he is starting out again.
