yeah, now that i think of it the force of the wheel and the force of the calipers squeezing on the disc has to be a decent amount of pressure

it doesn't need to be adjustable, I just think it would be convenient. Question though, How important is it that this rod is strong? What I mean is, this piece seems to simply balance the brake caliper, the main part that keeps it in tact is the bottom piece that goes through the axle...
