I have the same problem but also i bought the kit off of Mikes XS and it revs fine but tends to not come down? Idles fine and throttles fine but when riding at say 4000rpm then i let go of the throttle and it seems to snap back fine but it stays at 4000. Ill check for stuck float on mine.

Also mine was firing on one only and figured out that the points to one cyclinder were shorting out on the point cover. Lined the inside with electrical tape and pow! Both were firing. Figured it out when I actually touched a pipe and it was cold after riding. Try running engine with points...

Yes both plugsd are connected one in the engine and the other grounded to the case. Coil resistance is fine, and I have tried a number of different coils off of running bikes

I have a tophat spacer from the disc brake wheel? are they the same? Does this spacer fit on the inside of the bearing somehow? Real wish I could see a picture of the real thing. The diagram tells me nothing. I tried using my tophats fromt he disc brake but its not right still wobbling etc..
